About Virginia Fleck

Angsty Teenage Eco Warriors is a teen service organization founded by long-time friends and neighbors. Its concerns are both ecological and humanitarian. They reject the bake-sale model of fundraising and self-absorbed reputation of teens. The founders Circe, Sadie, and Rosalind have recruited like-minded teens who can quote Monty Python, who still like dress up, and who believe that they are the people they've been waiting for. For the past five years, Virginia Fleck has had the pleasure of working with this talented and thoughtful group of young people. Ms Fleck's involvement with ATEW is guided by their optimism and their desire to be effective humanitarians.

In their pre-angst days, the girls tackled the Bard and performed A Midsummer Night's Dream. They transformed the rubbish of plastic shopping bags into eye-popping fashionable bags and purses. They assembled a Rube Goldberg machine that quieted a shrilling alarm clock. Now in their fabled and often-time angst ridden teen years, the self-christened Angsty Teenage Eco Warriors are using their super powers for good.
